Such a easy coworker and friend to have had the privilege to have met to with . I express my deepest sorrow to Anita and the entire family. We will all miss you John and me personally for that dry but witty sense of humor. May God bless and hold you in his keeping....I'm sure he already has.

McMahon Family: I am one of John's classmates at Scecina and ,while I was not that close to John,I remember him as a leader of the Class of 61' and a person of impeccable character. Please
accept my sympathies on John's far too early passing.

Anita, John's Children, Grandchildren, and Sisters:

When I saw John's photo on this site, I thought about how little he had changed - - -beautiful Irish smile, and a bit of impish quality to polish it off. It seems like yesterday that we were all running around the halls of Scecina, and that life seemed wondrously in front of us. John entered that life after high school with great promise (achieved), amazing capacity for love (achieved), and a desire to be faithful his Church and the people in his community (achieved). I would say that life was good to John, and that John returned that goodness many times over. Now his name will take its place in our memory book of deceased classmates from 1961. I wish it wasn't so, but what else can it be at the far end of life's continuum. I am aware that Anita and all of his family gave him all the needed support through his final days, and all of Anita's notes said, "He is fighting this thing." Now it is time for him to be at rest and for his family to be at peace. Thanks for sharing him with all of us over time, and peace be with each of you.
