I remember her coming to our house as a child and we would make choc chip cookies. She loved choc chip cookies. Haven't seen her often as we got older. So glad her suffering is over.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hartzog family. Joan and I were friends for over 55 years and when the "CC" gals married, our husbands joined us for great parties and memorial vacations. We will miss her, but know she is now with Tom in heaven.

I can see Joan rolling the dice for Bunco, I hear her laugh, and see her smile. My heart is broken for her family and for us. I played Bunco with her every month for over 15 years.
She handled her illness with such bravery and I admired that about her. She loved the neighborhood. They were one of the first to build and were great neighbors.
She sat each week faithfully in the same spot at church. God has His loving arms around her now......walking the streets of Gold with Tom.....May the family find God's peace during this difficult time....
