Dorothy "Dottie" L. Tyler, 90, passed away on June 17, 2017. She was born August 30, 1926 in Pioneer, Ohio to the late James and Ruth King. Dottie retired from Sears after 27 years of service in 1988. She was a devoted wife and mother. A very social woman, that enjoyed friends and family. Surviving are her children, Beverly Raymer, and Steven (Diane) Tyler; grandchildren, Laurie (Stan) McCall, Lisa Jackson, and Aimee (Jason) Bender; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, H. Thomas "Tom" Tyler; siblings; Ruby Douglas, Illega Walker, and Lloyd King; and son-in-law, Steve Raymer. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2pm in the Chapel of Lutheran Life Villages, 6701 S. Anthony Blvd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46816. Memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Life Villages. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Chapel 1320 E. Dupont Rd. Fort Wayne, IN.
