Myron R. Carrier, 92, of Fremont, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Carrier was born on March 8, 1926 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Albert J. and Flossie I. (Bell) Carrier. He graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne and later attended IPFW. Myron served his country honorably with the United States Indiana State Guard. On May 26, 1945, Myron married Marjorie L. Bechtol in Fort Wayne. He worked for International Harvester for 30 years. After retirement he worked for DO IT BEST hardware store. He was a boy scouts leader for many years. Myron loved woodworking, IU, and his dog, Gigi. Survivors include his son; Daniel J. Carrier of Zephyrhill, FL, son; Michael H. Carrier of Fort Wayne, Daughter; Judy A. Schaubschlager of Fremont, Daughter; Marsha L. Linemen of Churubusco, 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00pm with calling from 10:00am-2:00pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne 46825.
