Theresa C. (Ehinger) Hoot, 45, joined her father, Paul Ehinger, and sister, Kathy, in heaven on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Fort Wayne. Born in Huntington, IN, Theresa worked as an administrative assistant with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Fort Wayne Newspaper. She was a graduate of Purdue University and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Lions Club. Theresa knew no strangers; when you met her, you met a genuine person who welcomed you into her life and heart. She was someone you couldn't forget, nor would you want to. Surviving are her daughters, Erica Hoot and Amber Hoot of Churubusco, IN; mother, Jacilin (Gressley) Ehinger; brothers, Michael Ehinger of Houston, TX, Patrick (Teri) Ehinger of Dayton, OH, Robert (Geraldine) Ehinger of Huntington, IN, David Ehinger of Indianapolis, IN and Mark (Ingrid) Ehinger of Lexington, KY; and sisters, Lisa (Mike) Tipton of New Lebonan, OH, Cindy (Skip) Olson of Lexington, KY, Liane (Bob) Carroll of Fort Wayne, IN, Jeanine Skordos of Fort Wayne, IN, Ellen (Tim) Bouillon of Fort Wayne, IN, Stephanie (George) Berridge of Ellenton, FL, Leslie (Lee) Lord of Frisco, TX, and Mary Ehinger of Huntington, IN. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, 11:00 am, December 1, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road.
