Renee Ann Osterhout Obituary

Renee Ann Osterhout, 80 of Grabill met the angels and her Lord on October 17 at home surrounded by her loving family. Her pain is gone, and she is finally at peace. She was preceded in death by her brothers Gerald and Donald Kugler. Renee was a wonderful wife, homemaker, and loving mother. She loved sewing, flowers, cooking, and home decorating.

Born April 27, 1939, and educated in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late MacDonald and Anna Kugler. She was an active member of Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, including working with the Dorcas Circle quilting group as it's leader for many years. Her favorite Psalms were Psalm 23 and Psalm 100.

Renee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard A. Osterhout of Grabill, IN. Her sons Rev. Bruce Osterhout (Julie) of Reading, PA, Brian Osterhout (Susan) of Marlton, NJ, and her daughter Beth Ann Richards (Kenneth) of Laotto, IN. She had five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Grandchildren include Daniel (Julie) Osterhout living in Summerville, SC, Caitlin Osterhout of Philadelpia, PA, Amy Renee Osterhout and David Osterhout both of Marlton, NJ, and Kenneth Nash Richards of Laotto, IN.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Parkview Hospice Service. Arrangements will be made for a graveside service and internment of ashes at Viewland Cemetery in Schenectady, NY.
